Day01 Fly to Lhasa
Taking morning flight into Tibet, upon your arrival, local guide will meet you and transfer you to Lhasa. On the way, you can enjoy the heart - beating highland view along the Yalu Zangbu river (the longest river in Tibet, the lower reach in India is called Brham Putra river); in the afternoon, you are free. white pagoda

 

Day02 Lhasa
In the morning, visit the grand - looking Potala Palace, which was built in the 7th century for the King. In the afternoon, visit Jokhang temple and stroll in the famous local bazaar - Parkhor street.

 

Day03 Lhasa
Visit Tsepung monastery which is the biggest monastery in Tibet. Then visit Sera monastery and Tibet Museum which can give you deep impression of Tibet arts and civilization.

 

Day04 Lhasa to Gyangtse to Shigatse
Driving past the Gangbala pass(4800m), view the Yangdrok lake, then down by the old road to Gyangtse, visit the Karuola glacier, and the Perkhor monastery in Gyangtse town. In the late afternoon, arrive at Shigatse.

 

Day05 Shigatse to Lhatse
In the morning, visit Tashilunpo monastery, which is the biggest monastery in rear Tibet, and the permanent residence for Panchan Lhama. Inside are some stupas for the passed Panchan lhamas, and a 30 - metre high copper cast Future Buddha; then drivie along the Tibet - Nepal friendship highway westwards to Lhatse town. Before arriving, visit and touch the history of Tibet in 13th and early 14th century - the once capital of Tibet: Sakya mt.everestmonastery (the home monastery of Sakya - pa sect).

 

Day06 Lhatse to Mt.Everest to Tingri
Going into Everest, free time at Rongbuk ; in late afternoon, leave for Tingri.

 

Day07 Tingri to Gyirong then Exit China to Kathmandu
Early morning leaving from Tingri for Gyirong town, then check through China Customs.
